#PLENK2010 Agile Management

Here is an interesting slide on Agile Management

Some of the concepts in Complexity Theory mentioned could be related to PLENK.

There is a brief overview on the Complexity Theory,  extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, self-determination theory, self-organised learning and self-directed learning.  Good food for thoughts.

  1. Hi John,
Lots to think about in that slide show. A self regulating learner is comfortable with complexity. The various theories are just lenses that people have come up with for explaining the complexity, and what are theories, but hunches with a history.
I laughed when I read the 16th basic desire: Vengence. What a waste of a mind… “Every twelve year old knows there is no end to revenge.”
    Thanks for sharing the presentation.
    Mary

  2. Hi Mary,
Yes, couldn’t have agreed more – on the theories used to explain complexity. Complexity has existed throughout history, in and out of networks, and throughout the ecology, only that we had only “discovered” within the past few decades.
Good to learn your views. Thanks
    John
